Today, I had to psych myself up to participate in a conference call with a prospective client. The call was scheduled to begin at 10:00 p.m., but I had just gotten off of a flight coming back from a week in L.A. I didn't want to join the call but I did because it was the right thing to do. I also know that these people are serious about their work and very much want my assistance.
My prospective clients are wonderful people so, of course, I enjoyed the call and it went well. In passing, I mentioned my interest in teaching people how to follow their Purpose in life. One of the gentlemen on the conference call asked if we might talk tomorrow about it.
Of course!
In that conversation, he shared that he's working for a company that is looking for similar content. Who knows down what path our dialogue will lead, but I have agreed to share some of my writing on that topic. Whether or not this particular opportunity pans out, I've met another like-minded soul.
Moral of the story: Always do the right thing! There's a reason for it. The moral code of the Universe helps us stay on our path.
